The WordPress REST API can be used in various — more or less sophisticated — ways. In this presentation I'll show how you can make use of the REST API, what to watch out for when implementing your solutions, and discuss good practices and the issues worth paying attention to when deciding to use the REST API in your project.

  • Kamil Porembiński: A pragmatic approach to hosting

Hosting companies fight over customers and tempt them with all sorts of features. Many PHP versions, various databases to choose from, hundreds of ways to connect to the server, and so on. Do we really need all of this, and what dangers does such a lush hosting account carry? How can you use the "backups" provided by the host to kill their server? You'll learn about this and many other tricks from this presentation.
