Cut Beer
In the Slovak town of Starý Smokovec I discovered the taste of cut beer. It's an alcoholic drink made by pouring dark and light beer into a glass.
Skilfully pouring well-chilled dark and light beer gives us a two-coloured drink. Preparing such a beer takes a few minutes, but it's worth the wait. The effect is sensational. The two layers are clearly separated.
The layers hold beautifully not only at the start of drinking, but also after each sip. On top we have light Gambrinus beer and at the bottom dark Šariš. Cheers!
