The Eight-Armed Crossroads

They say all roads lead to Rome. We in Łódź claim they converge in Nowosolna. The village's original name was Neu-Sulzfeld, because most of the colonists settled there came from the area of the Württemberg town of Sulzfeld.

Nowosolna

In the village of Nowosolna there is an interesting crossroads of 8 roads. The roads, set at 45-degree angles to one another, meet in the centre of the settlement. It is a unique example of rural development laid out this way on a national scale.
