Fruit Jellies
Sometimes there's a day when someone feels sad. And when pulling silly faces and clowning around doesn't work, you have to reach for the secret weapon! Colourful, smiling fruits to brighten up the morning breakfast. Let's get to it!

At the very start we have to buy some nice fruit and wash the peel thoroughly. I chose oranges, a grapefruit and a lime. For making a jelly watermelon, a green grapefruit works better.

Next we cut each of the fruits in half and scoop out the flesh with a teaspoon. It went easiest with the grapefruit, and the lime put up the biggest fight, squirting juice everywhere.

Once we have our fruit bowls ready, we set about making the jelly. Here we simply follow the instructions on the packet of jelly. After cooking it, we pour it over the fruit and put it in the fridge overnight.

Once the jellies have set, we set about cutting them into pieces. The lime that's pretending to be a watermelon we decorate with pieces of chocolate, which will imitate the pips.

We cut the remaining fruit as we like and savour their taste.

Enjoy!

The Old Market Square in Łódź
As tends to happen at the end of the year, a little grumbling is in order. That Łódź is a different city from all the rest, I probably no longer need to prove to anyone. Sitting in front of my computer, I realised yet another fact that sets this place apart. We have no Old Market Square!
