It's not yet time for an electric car

• Charging takes a very long time. You fill up an ordinary car in a few minutes. An electric car means a minimum of 45 minutes of standing around;
• It takes even longer when someone is charging next to you;
• ICE cars take up spaces for EV, BEV cars, and often there's no way to charge;
• Low availability of chargers;
• If you don't live in a house or don't have electricity in the garage, then dropping a cable from the 7th floor in front of the building is a bad idea;
• Complicated billing systems for charging; the first minute costs this much, after an hour that much, per kilowatt-hour this much, and for standing and not charging that much. On top of that come the subscriptions of each company that supplies the chargers. As complicated as the AWS cloud price list;
• When the chargers are available, you never know whether it's broken, whether it works, whether it has network access;
• Each charger has a different provider, so you have to have dozens of accounts and apps on your phone. Many apps have terrible UI, hang, and if you don't have Internet or have a weak signal, forget about charging;
• And when you do have internet, the charging system has an outage, they restart the server, or, as is typical in IT, something doesn't work;
• Apps like PlugShare are stopgaps showing where you can charge and whether someone isn't charging there right now;
• Adapters and various standards of cables and sockets for charging;
• Cars require a lot of electricity, and the Polish power grid isn't ready for it. What's more, there's talk of saving energy, turning off air conditioning and preparing for blackouts;
• Travelling requires good route planning and takes significantly longer than driving a combustion car;
• Electric cars aren't good for covering motorways at high speed. Their range decreases very quickly;
• The price of the car, or the plug-in type, is significantly higher than an ICE car;
• Electric cars are only as eco as the electricity they charge from is eco - and that varies;
• They aren't ecological at all if you look at the whole of creating such a vehicle and not just its emissions while driving;

We mustn't forget that the real enemy is emissions, not a specific type of drivetrain. Nor can we achieve carbon neutrality on our own; it has to be a comprehensive solution that also covers sectors other than the automotive one - Akio Toyoda

• Maximum torque non-stop! It drives great;
• Despite the complicated price lists, the costs of "fuelling up" the car are still much lower;
• They look nice, designer-like.
