Krka National Park
The next port the "Mana" called at was Skradin. It's a tiny town on the river Krka. The biggest attraction in the area is the waterfalls on the river, located in Krka National Park. The largest of the waterfalls is Skradinski Buk.
Sailing to Skradin, you pass the town of Šibenik. From the yacht you get a very nice view of the town's harbour panorama. The route winds between rocks and bluffs, by which you can stop the boat for a moment and have a dive. Because of the mouth of the river Krka, the water becomes increasingly fresh.
The river forms waterfalls, cascades and rapids. In the largest of the waterfalls (Skradinski Buk) you can swim. In the central part of the park lies Lake Visovac. On its middle a Franciscan monastery was built. In the other parts of the park you can see 19th-century watermills and the remains of a hydroelectric plant that was put into operation in 1985.
You can get to the park from the town of Skradin via boats running every hour, which bring tourists to the area of the bathing spot by the waterfall. Krka National Park is truly worth a visit.

Foggy Wanderings Around Łódź
Some time ago I went on night-time wanderings around Łódź. The city seemed to me empty, sad and gloomy then. On a certain foggy evening I wanted to set out again and capture the beauty that Łódź hides somewhere within itself.
