Plitvice Lakes National Park
Coming back from the Adriatic cruise, our crew went to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Last year I visited Krka National Park, which is similar to Plitvice Lakes. The biggest attraction is the 16 karst lakes connected to one another by numerous waterfalls. The trails in the park are very well marked and connected.
The trails in the park are marked in different colours depending on their length. The routes can be divided into ones of 1–2 hours and ones of 3 up to even 5 hours of walking. Between the more important viewpoints, you'll find connections by boat and by electric vehicles, which resemble a little train. On site you can see a large number of waterfalls, gorgeous lakes and rich fauna and flora.
