Setting Sail from Zadar onto the Adriatic Sea
I couldn't believe it when, after the Baltic cruise, the option of sailing the Adriatic came up. Trying out sailing on a warm sea was a really tempting prospect. The yacht "Mana" (Bavaria 37), 11.1 metres long, awaited us in Zadar.
After drawing up the watch rota and a short safety briefing, we set about loading up the yacht. Some of the group headed to the shop to buy food for a few days. Since we weren't allowed to sail at night, we set off on the first leg at dawn. The destination was the town of Skradin and Krka National Park.
Sailing here was completely different from the Baltic. We constantly had islands and the mainland within sight. The water was decidedly warmer and saltier. The Adriatic Sea had a wonderful blue colour. A warm, pleasant wind blew, and Mana drew closer and closer to Skradin.

Some time ago I went on night-time wanderings around Łódź. The city seemed to me empty, sad and gloomy then. On a certain foggy evening I wanted to set out again and capture the beauty that Łódź hides somewhere within itself.
